A hidden gem tucked into the woods. Perfect for a family-wonderfully stocked kitchen complete with an abundance of spices and sugars and a pound of delicious coffee as a welcome gift. Online pictures don't do it justice. Furnishings and decor are gorgeous and everything was in immaculate condition. Beds were firm but comfortable. The blackout blinds were really appreciated in the bedrooms. Be aware that the interior stairs were numerous and a bit steep.We spent many afternoons napping in the oversized hammock in the screened in porch, and enjoyed sunsets on the huge deck. Foozball table, dart board and a large assortment of books were perfect for down time.Saw 5 bear on the property including a mother and her darling cub.Note that the property was located up a steep gravel road so there was no opportunity for walking around the neighborhood. That said, we got plenty of walking at the Biltmore, Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. A lovely stay, we'll be back.

My husband and i decided on a last minute trip to Asheville and I was deciding between this home and another. Went with this home based on its more central location to places we wanted to visit (downtown Asheville & Black Mountain). We were so impressed with this house. It’s clean and has a beautiful layout with high end appliances. The furnishings are what you’d expect in a rental (good looking pieces that can handle a ding or two). Don’t get me started on the wonderful views - the sunsets and sunrises were SO beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet and quaint. The hosts/rental company left a nice card with recommendations, some snacks, and coffee. Will definitely rent this house again when it’s time for our next trip.And just FYI there’s a steep drive up to the house and a turkey that hangs around the property, just keep that in mind when you’re hauling up the gravel road to the house!

Because of Helene we decided not to come. We found a good solution with the host. Looking forward to staying in the cabin same time next year.

Property was pristine and very conveniently located to downtown Asheville and the Blue Mountain Parkway. The owners thought of everything and anticipated our needs. We loved the game room the most and spent time throwing darts and watching the large TV. The kitchen was well stocked and equipped with high end appliances. Would definitely stay here again and have recommended it to other family members and friends already
