This is our second year in a row staying here, the hosts are excellent. The location is nice and private and the house is large enough to accommodate myself, my sister, our kids, and the occasional feral child. We especially like that it is pet friendly and that they allow us to host small gatherings. We have been coming to Castle Rock Lake since the early 90s the same week every year with several other family friends and we love being able to share dinners together after a long day of beach and boating. The kitchen is large and has everything we need, there is plenty of space for people of all ages to hang out, whether it be the deck, the living room, the campfire, or our favorite - the screen porch (especially on a rainy day)! The “Barbie House” as we call it is available for a small additional fee and is perfect for the older kids. Highly recommend!

This VRBO was again everything I needed in a quiet secluded getaway. The beds were so inviting, I wanted just to climb in and fall asleep. It was one of the hottest summer days on my recorded record. The air conditioning worked perfectly and it was quiet.I am so tempted to keep this VRBO gem to myself.Communication with the host was pure perfection.I can't wait to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. This property is well appointed. It is very clean. Very comfortable. My favorite spot was on the screened in porch. Thanks for letting us stay.

Owner was very responsive. The property was spotless and had everything that we needed. The screened in porch with a wood burning fireplace was so cozy. Will definitely return.
