Our big family vacation at Carried Away was just perfect. The house had everything we needed. Beds were so comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for bug family meals. There are several places inside and out where all 15 of us could sit and have a meal together. The game too. Was a great hit. And outside!! We enjoyed the lawn where we played relay races and kickball. And the dock area with the bar, TV, refrigerator, lounge chairs for everyone was great. Our young children could enter the water easily with the ladder and played in the water for hours. Paddle boards and kayaks were a hit! And we enjoyed leisurely boat rides on the lake. S'mores at the fire pit and stargazing at night. Perfect!!

"Carried Away" was a top-notch experience. We enjoyed the kitchen cabinets being labeled so we knew where to find things when cooking and where to return them! Because we had beautiful weather, the kids and grandkids spent most of their time in the water and SO enjoyed the kayaks and the paddleboards. The entire family enjoyed being on the dock, upstairs and down, watching the fun. It was nice to be able to see what was going on from the deck up at the house. We ate at the TWO outdoor tables several times and used the gas grill which worked well. We ended up with 14 adults and 7 children for one of the nights, and had plenty of room for all! If you want to bring in a meal, check out Gettin' Sauced in the City, right down the road for delicious Italian food. We are already talking about next year... :)

My group of 10 girlfriends meets every year at this amazing property! We have everything we need and not ever enough time to fully enjoy all the house has to offer. Perfect for very large families and friend groups with plenty of space and things to do. The view is incredible and the beds are the most comfortable I've ever stayed in, and my whole group agrees.

Carried Away was everything its name promised and more. It exceeded all expectations, and the ambiance was truly unmatched. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated, creating an unforgettable experience. Absolutely chef’s kiss from start to finish!
