Top Floor 1 Bedroom Unit at Amazing Westgate Resort base of Canyons Ski Area

The Westgate was an exceptional resort with top notch amenities, free parking, and our family had a great time! The condo showed its age and was a bit tight for 4. The sleeper sofa was not comfortable so our kids slept on the couches. The kitchen was missing some cooking essentials like baking pans, only had 1 frying pan with no lid, 1 pot with a busted lid, and no oven mitts. As others have mentioned, the tub shower is pretty difficult to get in and out of, but we knew that going into it and used a stool to assist. Check-in and check-out process was very smooth with the front desk. Overall, I would say it was a good value for what we paid. Also, having a washer/dryer in the unit was very nice to have.

Simply awesome location and complimentary ski valet is very convenient.Bathroom and kitchen appliances are very nice with W/D in the unit.Also, very easy access parking garage.A couple of simple items were not there (no coffee, filters and a blanket for sofa bed). But the only drawback was the complete lack of owner reply to my email asking where I could find a blanket for sofa bed. Small things to me and nothing that made my trip bad. The staff at Westgate was very helpful. Aside from the fact that they accidently put me in the wrong room (moved me the next day), they brought me a blanket for the sofa bed when they didn't have to, and provided some coffee that was lacking in the unit. Overall, I think the place was perfect for me and my son.

Location is amazing. The amenities available at the resort cater to the whole family multiple pools, marketplace with all the essentials right in the building. Ski rental in the building. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that the pull out sofa bed is terrible. You feel every spring and support bar on a paper thin mattress. No adult can sleep on it. Also, the kitchen has every appliance you can imagine -- but no baking sheet, no strainer, no oven mits. Be nice to have the basics so you can actually use the kitchen.

The property needs upgrading. Sofas had nasty smell, shower/bath is ridiculous to enter and exit, tub doesn’t drain well, and carpet is dirty.
