Hotel Casa 69

Great location (5-10min walk from the National museum), super friendly staff (I assume it's family owned and everyone was incredibly nice and supportive), a beautiful room with nice decor, and a breakfast was delicious and massive! I stayed here for 3 nights and it was a perfect place to stay. Everything was walking distance, it made us feel safe, hotel itself was well maintained and decorated with unique art pieces and traditional Costa Rican pieces. Highlight is breakfast - it was restaurant quality delicious and massive! I really enjoyed staying here and definitely will be staying here again when I visit San Jose.

Honestly nothing really - wish there was AC but the ceiling fun helps a lot so it was comfortable.

Staff were lovely, clean room and close to centre. Really easy to see museums/attractions at San Jose. Breakfast really nice and very accommodating when we had all our bags. Really beautiful place with lots of outside greenery. Communal areas were really nice and well kept.

Only small annoying thing, when we first arrived no one was around for approx 30 mins so couldn't get checked in.

The room, the staff very kind, the location rather central, breakfast was perfect! Very clean place!
