We used the cabin for half of our group of 17 that was up in the area for a mission trip. This was the "Young Folks Home" and the other in the same neighborhood was the "Old Folks Home." The young'ns enjoyed the cabin space and used the common areas a lot for hanging out. We didn't use the kitchen much there, so I have no comment there. The hot tub worked fine for the time they used it. The whole group gathered there for s'mores one night in the backyard, which was a highlight.

Beautiful cabin situated perfectly in the heart of Mount Baker's beautiful forest. It was nicely stocked with all the essentials. We enjoyed both the fire pit and hot tub. We came straight from the cruise ship in Vancouver in a rental car so we appreciated the basket of snacks and drinks waiting for us. That was very generous and thoughtful. The kitchen was full of everything that someone would need to cook although we ate out most of our meals. It was a quick little 3 day escape before heading home following our Alaskan cruise and it was perfect!!!!

Great place

Comfortable and cute with easy access to dozens of trails and hikes including an easy drive up to Artist Point. Spend your evenings relaxing in the hot tub or around the fire pit with your friends and family. Several good eateries in the near area and a reasonable drive to Bellingham with all of its restraints and breweries. Highly recommend as a place to take a great trip to a beautiful area of the Pacific Northwest.
