The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. The farm was very nice, lots of animals, easy to access. Had my large dog along, no issues with the farm animals or anything else. Would definitely stay again.

The place was clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. They also provided earplugs, which are necessary since it is a farm and the roosters wake up starting around 4:30 am. My kids had fun “talking” to the turkeys in a gobble-language. It was quite cute. We liked seeing all of the animals, especially the peacocks perched on our deck when we got home one day. The place is aptly named! All on all, it was a nice little place and the 4 of us had a great time.

Who knew? All these years driving through Slaterville Springs, that we would find this unique spot. Both eclectic and bucolic describe the setting on this family-run farming homestead. With several overnight options available, you find yourselves in your own unique abode overlooking the lovely farmland. Wake up to roosters crowing, peacocks strolling across the lawn, sheep and horses grazing in the pastures. There are numerous areas to relax and enjoy the setting. We highly recommend Scottland Yard to those travelers who like an experience off the beaten path.
