One of the nicest homes I have stayed in.

Great stay. Rueben was prompt with communication. Fishing on the canal all night. Beach all day. Could t get the light over the canal to work but the neighbor turned his on for us. Neighbors are friendly too. Caught a PB black drum in the canal and lot of blue crab. Only draw back was one bathroom but we made it work. Outdoor shower is nice to rinse off in. House was clean and comfortable.

We loved staying at Reuben's place. It is clean, comfortable and roomy. Communication was great for the many questions I had leading up to our stay. We love the location: right on the canal and close to the beach. We highly recommend.

We stayed the last week of April. The house was very clean. The bed was so comfortable. Living room was inviting and a great place to relax. The kitchen was OK – but not a ton of counter space. We loved the location and the neighbors were friendly. The outside areas were somewhat neglected. We didn’t use the upper decks, despite the wonderful view, because there was no outdoor seating. The furniture was falling apart and the decks were uninviting. (I wanted to say depressing, but my husband thought that was too strong) The lower outdoor was great, after scrubbing the grill, chairs and bar. We even had to run the “tub clean” cycle on the washing machine (a 4 hour cycle – so it took 6 hours for 1 load of laundry). Rather than clean the washing machine, a capful of laundry soap was set out to mask the smell. All the towels smelled funny - so I was glad I cleaned the machine and rewashed them before using them. Overall, we rate it a 3 - average.
