This charming historical home is part of a 6plex located in fantastic Midtown Mobile on Old Shell Rd. At this beautifully restored 1906 home, you’re right in the middle of the action. Mobile Infirmary is right across the street making this a popular spot with traveling nurses and families. Downtown Mobile is 10 mins away with all of the great history of this shipping city. We're 40 minutes away from the white sandy beaches of both Gulf Shores and Dauphin Island.

This sweet studio apartment is tucked inside a classic Southern-style home and offers the perfect blend of comfort and character. With a private entrance, You'll enjoy a thoughtfully designed space with a cozy living area, fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious bedroom that’s perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the city.
Guest Access:
You'll park to the right of the porch using the second driveway, just in front of the garden pathway. Please note that one vehicle is allotted for this unit. The apartment is conveniently located just 2 miles from downtown Mobile, with two great local spots—The Dew Drop Inn and Nixon’s Bar & Grill—within easy walking distance!
The Neighborhood:
This is a great midtown neighborhood! Feel free to walk around and see all the historic homes! The Dew Drop restaurant and Nixon’s bar and grill are a close walk away!
Getting Around:
Uber is available and there are multiples bars, restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance! Electric scooters are available to get around the downtown area!
Other Things to Note:
You must be 21 to book. You dog is welcome with a $100 dog fee. Please no cats. This is a quiet complex and there are other guests and quiet time is from 10 pm to 10 am at night. Please no smoking of any type except for outside. Feel free to walk your dog in the backyard. This property has a mini fridge and no freezer. All the others have a full size refrigerator/freezer. The AC- heating unit is the hotel type and controlled with a remote. This is a small unit that accommodates two people.

The host was very attentive to all of our needs promptly. This unit is small but nice and cozy and includes nice amenities including washer and dryer. Also your own private driveway. The location was in a nice and safe neighborhood just minutes from downtown. Very good experience.

The home was wonderful. It was clean and exactly as shown. The host communicated clearly and effectively. I would definitely recommend staying here again.

Stayed for three months due to work. It was perfect for myself as it is a smaller unit. I did have a couple things happen that needed maintenance but for the most part they were fixed relatively quickly. There is a nice neighborhood to walk around when bored. It is in the Historic District so the roads are very narrow and the homes are older. Overall, would probably stay again if I was back in the area.

The host was very great at communicating. Loved the location of unit. House was a little smaller than expected and the inside did not look quite like the photos so that may need to be updated. The unit did smell upon arrival and host dropped off air fresheners.
