Oriental Hotel Tokyo Bay

Great hotel to stay at whilst visiting Disney Sea and Disneyland. Quite small rooms but there were four individual beds so good for two adults, two kids.

A little bit more space in the room would have been good but we were hardly there because we were out and about exploring most of the time.

We had a great stay overall. -The room was a good size with a lovely view from the 12th floor, and the shower stall was spacious (saying that as a plus size person) with good water pressure. There was a kettle and tea/coffee in the room, and water bottles that were replenished daily by housekeeping. -The free Disney shuttle was a huge plus and made getting to the parks and then back after a long day so much easier. -The hotel is directly connected to Shin-Urayasu Station, with a Lawson convenience store in the building and plenty of handy facilities, including a self service amenities room, laundry, and Sagawa Express counter. -The lounge area was a cool touch, with various free drink options, candies, biscuits, a pancake machine and a fairy floss machine - would be great when travelling with kids especially. -All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

-We could hear the trains and occasionally noise from other rooms, so the soundproofing could be better. -Some of the ventilation ducts in the room were quite dirty (black marks and accumulated dust). -The laundry was on the expensive side (¥1200 per load for a wash cycle + 60min drying) with no security measures for access, the room adjoins the lobby and anyone can open the machines. -Our room keys randomly stopped working one day; reception replaced them without any trouble but it was a little inconvenient and there was no explanation as to why they stopped working.

Beautiful hotel. It was convenient that there was a direct bus to and from Disney parks which we managed to get space on easily. Also the welcome bar included drinks and pancakes which was really nice. Staff were helpful and efficient. They also upgraded our room for free which was really nice. The room was lovely- very comfortable and clean.

The welcome bar and lift often had large queues.

The location was good, nice and close to a shopping centre and easy access to Disneyland and Disneysea

It was dirty, we stayed at 7 hotels during our trip and this was our least favourite. Very unkept, windows, elevators, flooring all dirty. Large school group staying and very noisy, we even had kids running up and down the halls and pressing the door bell and running away and all times in the night. Floors above us noisy. Staff not helpful or friendly like other stays. Lolly bar was poorly kept and same lollies were there for our week long stay.
