Had a wonderful time with the family

This was the perfect lake house for our group! We were in town for our baseball World Series at the Sand Amphitheater Park and it was the perfect location from the ball park to all of the attractions. However, our crew never wanted to leave the house because they had so much fun swimming, jumping off the dock, and fishing! The Cathedral Caverns and High Falls Park were just a 30 minute drive away. The house had everything we needed (maybe just a reminder on the fridge about taking the trash to the curb on Wednesday nights) and the owners were super helpful and very communicative! Everyone we met there was so nice! We brought our boat and were able to store it in the boat house. We really couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would book this place again and again!

Very nice place with a great view and nice outside entertainment areas. Plenty of room for several people. Only thing that would have been useful for us would have been a fish cleaning station down on the dock somewhere. Other than that everything was great and we will be booking for next year here. Thanks to Eric for a great vacation!

The house is ok, needing paint and other upkeep attended to. It had a significant ant problem and the pots were not suitable for use due to peeling nonstick coating. The ice maker also did not work. The owner says he has addressed these issues since our stay, but they were issues for us nonetheless. We were surprised to have so much road noise; not knowing the area before we booked we didn’t know the road immediately next to the house is very busy and noisy. Overall it was a disappointing destination. :-(
