Since never booking through VRBO we were hesitant. But this condo did not disappoint. It was exactly as it looked in the pictures or even better. Gorgeous ocean views and the condo was clean and laid out perfectly. The sunrises from our bed in the morning from every bedroom were spectacular!! It’s within walking distance to restaurants and shopping which was very convenient. The beds were all very comfortable and it was awesome to have a full kitchen so we could have coffee in the morning and all of our meals in the apartment if we wanted to. We love 1 Hotel and have stayed before so we appreciated that we had full use of all of the amenities of the hotel but a full apartment with beautiful views and everything we needed as if being at home. We are already planning our next stay.

Great condo, great views

The 1 hotel is gorgeous and the residence is nicely appointed with amazing views. A few important points if you are a discerning traveler. First, the master bathroom had a subtle foul smell the whole time. I’m not sure if it was the toilet — or what it was, but it was constant. Secondly, the two bedrooms (non-master) have the best views. The master bedroom had a nice view, but it was only a partial beach view — while the other two bedrooms had full-on beach views that were unsurpassed. One of the two bedrooms had an a/c unit that did not work very well. It needs servicing and did not cool very well. The a/c unit in the master unit also needed repair. It would cool, but it was loud and turned on and off every five minutes (so, it was annoying). Overall, the hotel aspects were wonderful. However, for the excessive price, I will book a room directly with the hotel in the future so that we can have a full-service experience. The Restaurants were great also. However, I just had a higher expectation. Also, they only clean the room once every 7 days .
