We loved the house, plenty of room and big windows so we could enjoy the beautiful mountain view. The home was very clean and stocked with items to start such as small tubes of toothpaste & hand soap at the sinks, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee filters and a rack of coffee pods plus a welcome bucket of goodies! These were much appreciated as the nearest store is about 15 minutes away down the steep gravel road. The location of the home was convenient and we drove around a big area exploring quaint small towns, waterfalls galore and hiking. We made it a point to come home while still light out and used the kitchen every night for dinner. The gas stove and dishwasher were much appreciated and well-used. The beds were comfy and use of the fireplace would have been nice but the gas piolet was broken, that being said we enjoyed a fire outside most every night in the firepit. The house sits on the side of a mountain and is secluded and quiet, which we loved. It was so peaceful. The owner, Tammy, answered my text messages promptly and was very attentive. Very enjoyable stay.

Beautiful mountain home with gorgeous views of the NC mountains. Home is very spacious and clean. Close to waterfalls, hiking trails and we enjoy nights playing pool and ping pong!! Host was great with communication and is very responsive. Thank you again for allowing us to enjoy your home. We will definitely be back for a visit soon!

The property was absolutely amazing. It was my first VRBO experience and it exceeded all expectations. We were looking for a secluded getaway with a view and this was it. The little town of Franklin was only a 10min drive away which had restaurants and shopping. The ONE drawback of the property is the internet; if you need to get some work done; it is spotty — but who would want to work in such a beautiful location!
