We had a wonderful stay at the Owl's Perch--communication with the owners was prompt and helpful, easy check-in, convenient access to everything we needed. The cabin itself is lovely. We really enjoyed the game room with video games and foosball, and the built-in playhouse was a big hit with our three year-old, who loved going inside to read and play around with the stuffed animals. It was a muggy Central Illinois weekend, but the cabin stayed cool and comfortable throughout. We were getting together with family at the place and very much appreciated the spacious deck and the extra camp chairs provided from the storage bin in the game room. The house was clean, well cared-for and the beds were very comfortable. On our next trip to Central Illinois, we would love to stay at the Owl's Perch again! PS. We heard the owl the first night :)

Hosts were easy to get in touch with and prioritized accommodating us with our stay, we felt well taken care of. It’ll make you want to build an A-frame of your own!

Very cute cabin. This was my families first trial at doing a family vacation and everyone enjoyed their time there.Cabin was perfectly set up, great views, very friendly quiet neighborhood. Everything was well explained and simple enough for some first timers, to where I had no need to ask questions.Lots to do near by, my family enjoyed checking out the paddle boats, puttputt at the Magic Dragon and breakfast at Eggscalent Cafe. Went well enough that everyone agreed to do another trip in the future. Thank you for giving us a great stay.

Great little place that packs a lot of value and space for a family or larger group. Loved our stay. Everything was as stated in the property listing.
