The property was beautiful! The trails were great and the clearing with the outdoor kitchen was really cool. My 8yr old loved playing in the creek and catching lightening bugs! The host was great and responded promptly to a couple questions we had. The house was clean and well stocked. The only minor downside was hearing traffic. Not enough to impact our stay and would absolutely stay here again. One of the bad reviews I read was about a smell in the house. It’s an old farmhouse but it is in good repair and very clean. The smell mentioned is just the smell of an old country home (like my Grandma’s) not something wrong with the place. I highly recommend!!

The house is clearly decorated with lots of an intentional style. We loved the unusual or vintage pieces. The kitchen is large, well stocked, and immaculate. Master bedroom opens unto a large back porch that covers 3 sides of the house. Gates are up to help slow down little ones. We appreciated this with my 2 year old great grandsons! The master bath can only be classified as “ bougie”. It is big and lovely with jewel tone floors. There are 2 trails on property that is nicely secluded and close to the highway. We really made memories during our stay, 4 generations together.

Absolutely loved this property, from the decor to the hiking trails & waterfall, it was all so beautiful! Such a relaxing environment! They also provide everything you could need! Loved this place so much!!

We enjoyed our stay at Shasta Valley. It has a nice large kitchen that is well stocked for cooking your own meals. The bed we slept in was comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the large porches, it was very peaceful and quiet. The owner was very responsive. Great wifi, no issues there. We would stay here again. We were surprised by the pet fee as that was not in the listing.
