Best VRBO we have ever stayed in. Absolutely stunning and equally accommodating. 5 stars.

Mermaid Cottage by the Sea was an absolute gem! The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and close to downtown San Clemente, yet tucked away in a quiet, charming neighborhood. The cottage itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The space was well laid out and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing but also action driven stay. The kitchen was well equipped, and the extra touches like beach gear made everything so easy and enjoyable. This place truly felt like a home you wish would be yours. During our stay, we met so many amazing people in San Clemente, Dana Point, and Laguna Beach, and we completely got sucked into the incredible vibe San Clemente brings. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing escape or a vacation packed with action, there is so much to do and explore. Communication with the host was smooth, and everything exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Mermaid Cottage to anyone looking for a coastal getaway you won’t forget.
