This was hands down one of the best trips we’ve ever had! Part of me doesn’t even want to leave a good review because I’d love to keep Jamaica Beach our little secret… but it truly deserves it.The house itself is amazing and has just about everything you could possibly need. It’s listed as sleeping eight, but I’d say six adults would be the most comfortable. The pool is a great size, the fishing right out back was incredible, and you really can’t beat having the bay in your backyard and the beach just right down the street. The area is quiet, relaxing, and just beautiful. The only downsides were with the management company, not the home itself. They only provided one towel and washcloth per person for the entire week, so we were constantly doing laundry (thankfully there is a washer and dryer). Also, the sheets in the master bedroom were dirty when we arrived, so we had to wash them before using the bed.Even with those small issues, this place was absolutely worth it. We had such a great time and will definitely be coming back. So thankful the owners share this little slice of paradise!

Great stay overall. Clean, comfortable place with a nice peaceful canal view and a fun private pool. Communication and check-in were smooth. Convenient location. Would stay again.

We loved our month stay at the Prager Bay view! First off, the home is on the older side and could use some updates. The dock was missing boards and it didn’t seem like there wasn’t an operable sink for cleaning fish, but we didn’t fish, so it wasn’t important us. What we loved was the beautiful pool and yard, expansive deck, and canal view. The home was comfortable and clean when we arrived. The a/c worked great and the beds were comfortable . We will definitely be back!

Beds were comfortable/AC great/pool Caught some fish/crabsWe reached out regarding no fishing lights and needed bath towels but w no satisfaction.I don’t usually do this, however, house needs maintenance.Ants in kitchenLoose boards on fishing dock Water mess w hoses outsideWe were disappointed , especially the underwater lights which was noted by other stays but our family still enjoyed being at the beach togetherMaybe we’ve just been spoiled w other summer rentals.Carolyn 7-2025
