Aura Suites

We have stayed here a number of times over the past six weeks during our time in Tanzania. We are very happy with everything and will always stay at Aura when we are visiting Dar-es-salaam. Good food from the restaurant. Good and comfortable apartments. Very good and helpful staff. Great value for money.

Very quiet with friendly and helpful staff

Excellent service and very professional staff who went out of their way to make us all comfortable and happy during our stay. Grace and Michael at the reception made us feel “home away from home”. They were very welcoming, always smiling all the time and very helpful during our stay. They fully supported us with whatever we needed and responded promptly to any queries that we had. During our check out, Sabin, the head of sales and marketing, was also very helpful regarding any future bookings with Aura suites, including a discounted price. The breakfast was exceptional and had all varieties for all dietary needs! The location is very ideal and near to all important locations. Its very close to all important malls, restaurants and Kariakoo for any shopping needs. I would highly recommend Aura suites for a family stay! Exceptional service and facilities! Grace and Michael, “keep on keeping on” with the excellent and professional service.

Nothing. A suggestion though to ensure that all rooms have smart TV streaming service to allow children and/or different family members to watch either Netfil or You tube channel sof their choice.

Easy to get to places Comfortable bedding Friendly and helpful reception staff

Too much traffic noise can’t sleep peacefully Windows are really badly designed that they can’t even close properly and not double glazed so you can hear everything so loudly House keeping does a very mediocre cleaning job. Too slow. Everything takes a long time. They never have towels at hand. They have to wait for them to be cleaned and then can replace them. Lifts are very slow You can’t have more than 2 key cards or then one of them gets blocked. No telephone near the lifts so you can call reception if need be or if your card doesn’t work to enter. No telephone in master room so only one in the lounge in a 3 bedroom apartment Anything you order from reception takes a minimum of one hour to be sorted Don’t think we will be staying there again
