The More Hotel Västra Hamnen

Comfortably furnished spacious rooms, each thing from my stuff immediately found its place. Convenient mini-kitchen. Possibility to get your breakfast on the 1st flour and have it in your room. Good balcony with a table and 2 chairs. It’s very close to the sea side and to the Turning Torso.

When I was booking this hotel, it seemed to me that the distance to the places I wanted to visit was much less than it turned out to be in reality🙃 I didn’t plan to use public transportation, but finally I had to use it

room was spacious. They allowed to take breakfast in to rooms, i think it is very beneficial for families with kids as kids prefer to eat at diffrent times and the kitchen utensils were a plus too.

every thing was fine.

The room was a good size, quiet with a good bathroom. It was handy to be able to eat breakfast in our room.

The comfort of the bed and pillow didn’t suit me or my husband. The bed was too soft and the pillows were very cheap and totally useless. The floors and walls could have been cleaner. The elevator is very slow to reach floors.

It was clean and there was space

From the description on Booking, it seemed that parking was included. However, upon arrival I was asked to pay an additional fee for parking, which was unexpected and disappointing. The towels were extremely old and felt overwashed. In addition, the shampoo and body wash were combined into one product. These should normally be separate. After using it, my hair felt very dry and difficult to manage. The breakfast area was extremely small. As we were traveling with small children, we had to sit right next to the entrance door, where it was very cold. I politely asked a staff member if it would be possible to move or combine tables in another area, but she refused, saying the tables were reserved. However, no one used those tables during the entire time we were eating. The staff member was not helpful and simply responded “no, I will not.” The quality of the breakfast was also very disappointing. The coffee was very watery and tasted poor. The eggs were also watery and had almost no taste. None of my family members ate them, even though they were the only warm food option available. Additionally, the breakfast selection was exactly the same every day with no variation. My husband also mentioned that the reception staff on both days were not very friendly and often seemed unsure of the answers when asked questions. Overall, this stay did not meet our expectations, and unfortunately I would not recommend this place.
