Ottimo appartamento, grande e spazioso, dotato di due camere da letto, bagno, cucina con affaccio sul terrazzo e soggiorno. L’oste ci ha lasciato tutto quello che potesse servirci per cucinare e lavare i vestiti

Un peu éloigné du centre ville à pied

Nice modern accommodation, the host was friendly and accommodating, and the property has excellent parking, which was a real benefit. The location is also convenient for the harbour, although the walk back up to the property is quite steep. Walking down is absolutely fine, but the return journey is more of a climb.

The property could benefit from some additional amenities and some attention to the accommodation itself. There are two apartments at the property, and I feel this should be made much clearer on Booking.com. We booked this accommodation largely because of the lovely balcony shown in the photographs, but this wasn’t the balcony belonging to our apartment. Ours was a very long, narrow wraparound balcony where you could just about fit a chair and had to squeeze past. The bathroom was also quite old and dated. It was clean and perfectly usable, but again, it wasn’t what was advertised in the photographs. There was also a stale smell throughout the accommodation when we arrived. It smelled strongly of old cigarette smoke, although I can’t say for certain whether this was from previous guests smoking inside. It took us around three days of using air fresheners and doing some additional cleaning ourselves before it became tolerable, so this is definitely something that needs to be addressed. There was only one towel provided, so it would have been helpful to have an additional towel so that one could be used while the other was being washed. There was no ironing board, and unfortunately the iron provided was burnt and had burn marks/stains on it, so it wasn’t really usable.
