Best place I stayed in Indonesia. Without a doubt. Everything is about this place is just wonderful, down to the last minute detail. But if I had to name one thing that stood out above the rest, it would be the staff. Incredibly helpful, incredibly kind. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who ever visits Gili Meno!

I can’t name a single thing.

The villa and pool were excellent. Having breakfast brought to you was another nice touch. The breakfast was very good also. The pool was very clean The outdoor bathroom is a great experience. The beaches are the best on the Gili Islands Most places offer the use of their sunbeds on the beach for free. They are definitely working on improving the islands upkeep 👏👏👏👏

The only issue was when the road ends, getting your cases to the villa the last 20 meters is a bit of a challenge.

The rooms at Villa Palms are spacious, comfortable, clean, and very private. Breakfast every morning was a superb spread of toast, eggs, fruit, and coffee. Villa Palma is in a quiet corner of the very quiet Gili Meno island, but is a ten minute walk (or a few minutes by bike) to most of the best beach locations. And a few great warungs are within two minutes' walk - especially Tip of the Tongue

The property is in the middle of the island, so it takes 10-15 minutes to reach everywhere. The staff offered us excursions to Lombok as well as snorkeling.

The villa looks somewhat smaller in real life than in the pictures. The staff informed us that there are occasional electricity shutdowns on the island, so we were lucky not to experience any during our stay. Breakfast was okay, but the choice was quite limited. There were no vegetables served with the eggs, which made it taste rather plain. The tap water is salty, so if you are planning a longer stay, you might feel a bit uncomfortable, as it’s difficult to properly rinse the salt off your skin. However, I believe this is more of a general island issue rather than a problem specific to this villa. The biggest disadvantage is that card payment is not accepted. Guests are asked to pay in cash or via bank transfer/PayPal. When I offered to pay by bank transfer, the staff insisted on standing next to me during the transaction, and two people were watching me while I was making the transfer, which felt quite awkward and uncomfortable.
