Relais Amalfi Coast

The highlight of our trip was Antonio, he is a neighbor next-door and in his mid 60s and we used him to drive us everywhere! He was very sweet and his prices were five times less than normal taxis. The location is very private. Other than the other guests staying on property, you won’t see anyone else. If you’re looking for seclusion, being on top of a mountain overlooking the ocean and businesses below, this is your spot. You can hear the ocean waves even from on top of the mountain. It was the cleanest property I’ve ever stayed at! Internet was great. Everything was in working condition. It’s literally a converted farm and there are eight or nine different terraces where they have planted different kinds of fruit trees. Each condo is assigned its own private pool/hot tub and tanning area with two chairs, we used the pool every day. You can turn up the heat if you wanna turn it into a warm tub but it takes about an hour to go up 1° so be sure to turn that on right away if you’re wanting to enjoy it as a warm tub. The property manager got back to us every single time we messaged within minutes. We needed extra towels and we had them. We had questions about various things and they were answered. Very very impressive!

The only negative is the location. Because it sits at the top of the hillside it’s far from everything. The nearest restaurant is a 10 minute walk down 300 flights of stairs. You could take the street and skip the stairs to have less of a decline, but it will take longer. Some restaurants offered shuttle services to pick you up so you didn’t have to do all the stairs. We never walked back of all of the steps and always got a ride back up. Even when you get dropped off by a taxi, you’re still going to have to walk up a steep hill for about five minutes. Do not come here unless you only have one bag per person.

This was something else!! Couldn't believe my eyes when I opened the fridge and drawers and it was totally packed with food! Thank you. This was great. Much more than we needed. The view was out of this world! Just spectacular from every window. The hot tub was such a bonus. It had an even more spectacular view. Just WOW!

I loved everything!

It was nice. Jacuzzi was nice, but not as private as you would think.

Apartment wasn’t as big as we thought. Coming there with a car is a bit tricky but in the end we didn’t have problems with it.

Quiet, the views, access to little local supermarket (400 steps down mind).
