Breakfast was great with a mixture of continental and cooked breakfast, and was quite sufficient :-) I liked the large lobby area where it was possible to work without being interrupted and get a coffee or sandwich. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

The room was right next to a noisy train station so we had to keep the window closed all night. The car park underneath the hotel was often full and difficult to get a space.

Location excellent for ferry port. Secure parking for cars/motorbikes. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good food for reasonable prices.

Room was looking a bit tired and the shower leaked into the room.

The hotel was excellent, very clean, modern and the staff were great. We wanted to go into the old city and were able to get a bus on the recommendation of the staff on reception. Many hotels just call an expensive cab. We used the restaurant area at 23.00H for a night cap. The breakfast was excellent the following morning. Free, secure car parking was a key feature for us as we wanted to leave our suitcases in the car overnight as we just packed an overnight bag for our one night stay

The only issue is the road noise. We stayed in room 212 and asked to be moved when we saw the room. The receptionist was happy to do this but explained the hotel has roads on 3 sides and a train line on the fourth side so background noise is likely to be a problem in most rooms. We think you should consider installing another layer of glazing to reduce the road noise.

Breakfast buffet very good,staff very nice

The Hotel is in the middle of an industrial area nowhere local to walk to,taxis into town,€7.5 Our room 008 was very pokey,very dark,only natural light came via the service duct,outlook was some green mouldy pebbles. At night a strong light came through our window from corridor across the service duct,had to pull down blackout blinds to shut out the lights,this made the room even more like a dungeon. If we had been staying more than one night I would have asked for a different room,overall not very good value for money at €142
