Chrissy was a great hostess! She answered all communication promptly and was very helpful with local information. She recommended restaurants to eat at and sites to see. We especially enjoyed our visit to the Malaspina Galleries to watch an incredible sunset. Thank you for that information. Thank you also, Chrissy, for your recommendation of dinner at the Surf Lodge restaurant where we were treated to a wonderful meal and an amazing ocean view that included a show put on by a pod of Orcas. We would definitely consider a return visit to this unit.

great place

This is a terrific option for a short stay on Gabriola. The room is smalm (as the listing clearly indicates) but has everything you need. Close the the village but secluded at the end of a cul de sac, with great views of sunsets over Strathcone Park if you stand on tiptoes! Very satisfied!

This property had all you need for an overnight stay. It was not near a beach though and the property next door was logged leaving large old growth fir trees and stumps when looking out the window. Not a great view and you will need a car to get around. Never saw the owner but her dogs were outside so we couldn't put our dogs out as fencing is not adequate. For the price which is low for the island it was all you can ask for.
