Beautiful, quiet spot on the bay. Renovations so far fantastic, and the place has SO much character. Our pup loved the concrete porch for staying cool & people watching.

As always, our stay was wonderful. We enjoyed our weekend in a peaceful setting, relaxing and forgetting about our daily routine. Bob and Debbie are the best hosts.

We’ve enjoyed a stay at this property 4 times now. Each visit has been more fun and relaxing than the one before it. The hosts are fabulous to work with and have been extremely accommodating to our large group.

Buena Vista is a lovely old house, very thoughtfully furnished and decorated with a comprehensive kitchen. It's located right in Betterton Beach, with a great view of the Chesapeake Bay. One change from the listing was that the screening had been removed from the front porch, this provided a very clear view of the ospreys flying and fishing in the bay including the nesting pair right at the end of the pier in front of the house! Everything was clean and comfortable. We had some beautiful weather days when we opened the windows and enjoyed the birds singing and the fresh Bay air and there was a typically hot June stretch where we ran the air conditioning and I can say that it worked great and the house was comfortable despite the intense heat. The hosts had great communication and told us everything we needed to know and made us feel very much at home. Betterton Beach is a delightful place and very walkable and the neighbors were very friendly.
