This house and this view are absolutely amazing. We’ve been coming to Ocracoke as a family with a group of friends for 7 years. This is our second year at The Tide is Turning. We have been spoiled with this house and this view. We were devastated to learn that the house was completely booked for the next year and we will have to find another place to stay- the bar has been set very high. Very good communication from the hosts. We had a minor problem with the AC the first day and the host sent someone out right away. We would have loved to make this home our annual Ocracoke vacation home and we’re keeping our fingers crossed for 2028.

This is such a lovely home - beautiful inside and out! We loved sipping coffee and cocktails on the decks, jumping on the kayaks and our paddleboards for sunrise and sunset adventures, and fun details like the amazing outdoor shower and the rooftop deck! We will absolutely stay here again.

For a family of 8 it worked out great. The luggage elevator is a real blessing. The sunset view from the roof is outstanding

Beautiful property with everything you can think of. Clean and extremely comfortablr. Location is excellent and wonderful for sunsets. This was our second year at this location and already booked for next year. Owners design and care to detail exceptional.
