We had a lovely time here. When they say the driveway is steep, they are not kidding! Just keep going up the hill; you'll be fine. The cabin is just lovely. We quickly felt very much at home here. We were told that the remote for the ceiling fan between the kitchen and living room had been removed by a former guest, so we were unable to run that fan during the very hot days we were there. One other issue: the pictures on the Vrbo site clearly show a gas grill sitting on the deck to the right of the main door--there is no gas grill there...only a charcoal grill. We came prepared to enjoy the gas grill but had to go buy charcoal instead. The beds were very comfortable; the facilities in the main bathroom worked just fine; the 2nd building was a fun place to watch some TV and play games on the table there. FYI: the master bedroom does NOT have a queen-sized bed--it is a king-sized bed (and quite comfortable). We will definitely consider staying here again sometime!

The location was perfect for meeting up with our friends who were located along the road on the way to Heather’s place as well as at the end of her road. Heather’s place was a perfect size for the two of us as well as having others for dinner one evening.

My family enjoyed a perfect weekend!! The property is an authentic cozy cabin in the woods, completely renovated with all modern conveniences. Just a short drive to Seven Points Marina and Huntingdon. Feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere with total privacy but it’s close to everything!!Heather did a fantastic job with preparing the home with special touches to make us feel like welcome guests. Spotlessly clean, fresh bed sheets and bath towels, comfortable beds and furniture inside and out. The kitchen is lovely and fully stocked for nights we chose to cook at home. Perfect in every way! The “tree house” is on the top of our favorite places.

This property had pros and cons. Def very up to date. But the property said it could sleep 6 and it tops could sleep 4. we were hoping for a pull our couch or something to accomodate the other 2. We had to find chairs and couches for kids to sleep on during the stay. The mattress’s in both rooms were terrible made you feel like you were sliding out of bed all night. Location was very nice. Not on top of any neighbors. 11 min from the lake. Kids loved the wildlife. Frogs, lizards, and turtles. i would def stay again with less people.
