The house is beautiful and spacious both inside and out, with plenty of areas to eat as a big group. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment and crockery. Great location - only 30 minutes to Bath.
While we did have a great stay and the host was communicative and helpful throughout, we were disappointed that one of the master bedroom en-suite showers was out of order, the sofa bed in the common space was very basic (no mattress, the sides just fold down), and the kitchen didn’t have any basics stocked (no oil, salt, pepper).

The no nonsense decor and layout
Traffic in the summer with windows open would be a problem

Lovely house, lots of character with plenty of space for a big group. Very well equipped and had lots of glassware and crockery which is so helpful for a big group. The hot tub was a great addition, it was clean and very easy to use. Host was very helpful before our stay and responsive.
If anything the house was a little too warm at times but we soon sorted that with the thermostat.
