I liked the coati family that lived across the street but unfortunately the caretaker for the coatis has since told me that the trees that house the coatis have been cut down, which sucks .... Cancun is destroying what little nature is left there.
The air conditioning unit leaked all over me and the bed multiple times during my stay; the staff did not prioritize my comfort regarding that (false promises of moving me to another room, being given a direct line to staff to alert them if it happened again -- they hung up the phone on me when I called when it happened again, they came to "fix" it a day later but it kept happening so obviously they didn't fix it, etc)
