O tym ten wynajem wakacyjny
From the house, it’s not far to Sillerslev Harbor, home to the island’s best swimming beach and pier.
Internationally, Mors is known first and foremost for its massive moler cliffs, which dominate the landscape of North Mors. The most famous moler cliff is Hanklit (61 m). Don’t miss out on a hike to the top to enjoy the view of Thisted Bredning and the rolling countryside. Nearby is Salgjerhøj, the island’s highest point (89 m). From the top, you’ll get a clear sense of the varied and distinctive natural landscape found on the island. In the northeastern part of the island lies Ejerslev Harbor with its lagoon. Here, the moler cliffs rise high, and you’re welcome to try your luck as a fossil hunter. The Fossil and Moler Museum displays the many finds made in the moler on Mors.
In Nykøbing, you’ll find the local history museum Dueholm Kloster, which showcases the history of the people of Mors, and it also features rotating special exhibitions. It’s also in Nykøbing that you’ll find the Danish Foundry Museum, featuring the old Morsø wood-burning stoves and cookstoves.
The town’s lovely pedestrian street connects the town to the harbor, which is bustling all summer long. Here, every evening during the season, you can watch the sun set at 9:00 p.m. at the marina. On the outskirts of town, the Morsø Golf Club boasts a beautiful 18-hole course.
South of Nykøbing, you’ll find the scenic Legind Bjerge area with marked hiking trails and mountain bike trails. It’s also in this area that you’ll find Jesperhus Feriepark, offering activities for the whole family. The island of Mors offers enough to do to fill many days.
