Everything was as expected - excellent.

Ponente was a very pleasant surprise. It is located about 3 km outside the town of Symi. We arrived by ferry from Rhodes, and the host picked us up and brought us to the property. You can get to Symi via a water taxi that stops just 200 meters away; departures are at 10:00, 11:00, and 12:00 (meaning it returns past Ponente around the same times), as well as in the afternoon at 16:00, 17:00, 18:00, and—during peak season—19:00. The trip takes about 12 minutes, and entering Symi harbor by boat is a wonderful experience. We also made the journey on foot; it takes about 40 minutes at a leisurely pace and offers spectacular coastal views. As for the property itself, it is secluded and peaceful—truly superb. It is rare to find a place like this, where there are at most six people on the jetty at any time, given that there are only three rental rooms. The water is a dream, and the scenery is therapeutic; you can simply sit, do nothing, and gaze at your surroundings.There is no supermarket nearby (you have to go to Symi for that), but the room is stocked with the essentials. Within a 200–300 meter radius, however, there is a hotel with a restaurant situated on a hill—offering a magnificent view of the bay—as well as two other taverns by the water. You can even have breakfast at these places. AAs for the hosts, I have nothing but praise. Friendly, cheerful, kind—everything was absolutely outstanding!

Greek hospitality at its best. Our host Eutuxia treat us like family. She was there to assist with anything we needed. They offered us transportation from and to the port. The studio had everything we needed and cleanness was exceptional. The location was pure magic. We took advantage of the private pier in front of the facility to enjoy our morning coffee and swimming. Definitely, a very small car or motorbike is needed due to the fact that the location is 2-3 Km away from the port where the heart of the island is beating. See you soon.
