We came for my niece’s wedding with my parents and our son and his fiancé. The house’s rustic facade and interior worked perfectly with outdoor setting. We had so much fun playing ping pong and croquet. The owners were very friendly - they walked by and chatted with us .while we played croquet. It is a beautiful place, and we would stay there again.

Reviewer Comments:
We had a wonderful time! The house was great and really brought nature inside with the massive floor to ceiling windows in the main living space. It is tucked just enough away to make you feel like a get away but close enough to town for easy access to stores and restaurants. The house had everything we needed!

Reviewer Comments:
This was a perfect rental for our annual Highlands reunion with our daughters, our son-in-law, and our two grandchildren, a boy of 7 and a girl of 4.The house was sparkling clean and very well equipped. Although there were some dead areas for wireless, the 3 adults who had to do computer work for part of our stay managed well. It was a paradise for the children, with lots of games, including croquet, ping pong, and corn hole. They were enchanted with the deer family that came through the huge yard every afternoon and assorted rabbits and hawks, and enjoyed marshmallow roasts after sunset. The owners generously shared tours of their classic cars and were very attentive when an unexpected storm came through that blocked our road and brought over battery powered lamps and flashlights for us to use when the power went out for several hours. The only problems we experienced were that the 4-year old fell down several steps to the basement. Although she was unhurt except for a nasty bruise, carpet on the steep staircase would be a good improvement. Nonetheless we would love to return and enjoy Camp Highlands next summer!
