I am a returning guest, I have already stayed at the guesthouse in 2025. The guesthouse is located on the Westbank of Luxor, which is much quieter than the Eastbank, I could even hear the birds while eating breakfast. There are several restaurants nearby and you can cross the Nile using the ferry or a private boat. The staff is friendly and helpful.
I would have loved to have a small fridge in the room.

Staff went out of their way to book excursions, went to the other side of the river on a motor boat to get me a bottle of wine and made me a delicious breakfast having asked me the night before what I like to eat. Free airport transfer and a moped ride to a local cafe. Very attentive to the guava juice upon arrival to being very honest about payment (they forgot I owed them for wine which I had to remind them). The staff are uni lads working and studying and very keen to learn English so we chatted one evening and they were delightful.
Some of the tourists were demanding cheaper rates although the rooms are so cheap. I felt upset and embarrassed for the staff being bullied.
