The Saale Residence is perched on a peninsula and offers a wonderful view of the lake in two directions.

The landscape around the Hohenwarte Reservoir, with its forested, hilly shores, can easily be compared to Norway’s fjords or regions of Canada. The 800-square-meter property offers not only a magnificent view of the lake but also privacy and parking for cars. It is sunny and features several shaded areas. The property is fenced. The distance to the water is approximately 40 meters as the crow flies. To go swimming, you can take the shortest route from the property and be at the water in seconds. There are beautiful swimming spots about 200 away. A lovely beach with a sunbathing area is about 500 m away.

The house was renovated by the end of May 2022. It is equipped with a modern bathroom featuring underfloor heating, a shower, and a toilet. The bungalow can be heated using underfloor heating and a decorative wood-burning stove. A built-in kitchen extends into the living area (approx. 30 sqm), allowing you to enjoy an unobstructed view of the lake while cooking. The walls facing the lake are fully glazed. A large covered balcony with a lake view provides space for outdoor dining. The living room is spacious. It features two sleeper sofas, each sleeping two people, a TV, and a dining table that seats up to four people. The bedroom (approx. 18 sqm) has a double bed with a cold-foam mattress for a restful night’s sleep. Wi-Fi is available via cellular networks but often works only with limitations.

To the side of the house is another terrace with a barbecue area. This area is always shaded thanks to the surrounding trees.
