Beautiful home, great location and view, elevator was a plus with our older guests. Cant' wait to return on next visit to Memphis

We had a large group of faculty (2) and students (11) staying for an extended field study exploring the Mississippi Delta. The property was incredible and we are already making plans to for a return trip. We had to book the property relatively last minute due to ice storms requiring different arrangements for the trip. The owners were phenomenal - responsive and understanding from booking to one site. The property was well furnished and as advertised - clean with a great layout. (Be sure to be here for sunset times to enjoy the view from the myriad of porches and outside seating areas.)The layout of bedrooms would be well-suited for multiple couples allowing for personal space, with the common room being an exceptional space to all be together. Cannot say enough about the spaces - very intentionally functional. It was within easy walking distance to Beale Street, the Peabody, Mud Island and is right by the bluff trail. In short, it was a phenomenal way to experience Memphis, with the constant reminder and exceptional views of the Mississippi River. Cannot recommend this highly enough.

Everything was great.

While the view was unforgettable and the spacious home gave us all the opportunity to settle in, we found this property a little worse for the wear and lacking in cleanliness. We sent photos to the property manager and talked with her. She was very responsive and sent help the same day to get the property cleaned up. Unfortunately, although we were assured the elevator was working in our check-in instructions, we reached out when we couldn’t get it to work. The maintenance team was sent out, but in the end the elevator was broken for the entire stay. One of our family members had a broken leg, and this made their experience more difficult.
