We stayed three nights. The house is spacious and had everything we needed, and we enjoyed the Front Royal area. Unfortunately our main issue was the lack of communication from the host. There was never a check in after we arrived or a response to our messages while we were staying. We had a significant issue with an intermittent beeping in the house that we were unable to figure out. This occurred at all different times of the day including in the middle of the night. We sent multiple messages and emails, as well as left several voice messages on the contact number provided in the house book. It was very disappointing that this was never addressed or resolved. It was literally beeping as we walked out to leave. Also the outside trash was overflowing when we arrived, so we had to put trash on top of it. This just made the appearance seem unkept. I hate saying that because the inside of the house and backyard are charming.

This family-friendly house was a great fit for our adult and toddler mix. Our little guy had a great time in the deep, enclosed backyard. Being downtown Front Royal was convenient being near downtown's stores, Coffee shops, etc. Close enough to choose between walking or driving - and we did some of both. The house has useful gathering areas on the main floor near the kitchen where we spent much of our time. Also easy parking on the property for 3 vehicles.
