Our group was 11 older, men college-buddies in NO for a fishing outing on Lake Ponchartrain. The unit was almost perfect for our group. I mistakenly thought this was a single compound and that our rooms were the entirety of the rental. I also did not read that smoking isn’t allowed anywhere on the property. I assume smoking was OK outside and around the pool. No one in our group smokes cigarettes, But, part of our tradition is having a moment where we smoke cigars in an outdoor setting. Any minor issues we had were promptly addressed by staff. The pool area is very nice, peaceful and insular. We had a great time.

Host was very welcoming. The location was great and very convenient to our travel location. Nice quiet place with a great ambiance.
