It is very rare that a rental is THIS clean, with every appliance, light bulb, TV remote, and electronic item functioning. When we arrived, the hot tub was bubbling and warm, the patio lights were on, the house was ready to be immediately enjoyed. The owners are incredible, I quite literally texted them upon arrival, as I hadn’t saved the key code for entry and couldn’t access my email, and they responded IMMEDIATELY with the information. We loved this home so much, we did not want to leave. We will absolutely return soon! Don’t sleep on this property, sleep IN it! Book it today!

Absolutely amazing cabin! It has everything you need and more—spacious, beautifully designed, and set on a stunning lot in a quiet neighborhood. Host Amanda was incredibly communicative, answering all our questions promptly before, during, and after our stay. We felt so taken care of. Can’t wait to stay here again!

When you book a place to stay, you hope it will be everything that the listing describes and more. Knotty Bear Retreat was truly the perfect cabin experience (honestly exceeded my expectations). The communication from Jay and Amanda was excellent throughout the trip and they were able to answer all my questions before booking. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed in their wonderfully picturesque cabin. The location was only minutes away from all the activities in town and the entrance to the national park but also private and tucked away in the beautiful quiet mountains. The cabin is new and so clean. I didn’t want to leave. Best value in the Smokey Mtns. Ive been coming to this area my whole life and this is the first time renting with Jay and Amanda. I plan on coming back every year and there is no other place I’d rather stay than Knotty Bear Retreat! If you’re lucky enough to find availability, I highly recommend this cabin!
