Hotel Don Marcos

Tamaño habitación, decoración y diseño del hotel fuera de lo habitual, relación calidad precio, buen desayuno buffet y disponibilidad de aparcamiento.

La misma espectacular decoración puede en algunos casos ser poco práctica, como los lavabos, por ejemplo. No dispone de ascensor y a ciertas edades las escaleras se atragantan. Se echan en falta letreros en cruces estratégicos para llegar hasta el hotel cuya ubicación es complicada por obras y calles de sentido único , si bien el personal de recepción nos ayudó bastante para llegar.

Lo que más nos gustó fue el ambiente tranquilo, la habitación muy confortable y el personal

El acceso para llegar al hotel está en bastante mal estado. Necesita un asfaltado.

Ha sido una muy grata sorpresa, el trozo final del camino para llegar nos hizo sentir que nos habíamos equivocado y el final fue un acierto total, el lugar, la habitación, el personal, las vistas, la tranquilidad y la decoracion son geniales.

Es dificil contestar esta pregunta pues no tengo nada negativo que por decir algo la puerta de la hanitación está holgada por la parte de la cerradura y entra luz en la habitación.

The location and the view in the castle is beautiful. There is a kinder playground and a relatively small but pleasant swimming pool. We liked the decoration in the rooms made of wood and with clay sinks and big windows. The mosaics made of little stones are very nice.

Althought given the nice location and the positive points mentioned above, we would normally give a highee rate to such a hotel but we had a very unpleasant experience with the owner of the hotel. We were contacted by the hotel before arrival concerning suplementary beds for kids and after some exchanges via the booking app we were reassured by the hotel that they would arrange it without additional costs so we were expecting that everything was in order and ready for our arrival. However, when we arrived the first we heard from the hotel owner was that she didnt appreciate the exchanges via the booking app that we were not enough grateful and she started a stressful and very emotional, confrontational and hostile discussion, which was the last thing we needed after 600 Km by car with 3 little kids in a very hot day. This provoked a very unpleasant situation with the owner calling another staff member to check us in as she said "she was also human" and she could not "tollerate" the situation in fact she had created herself upon our arrival. After the check in we thought we would be left in peace but when I asked whether the restaurant was open, she restarted the discussion by saying that herself and her staff were angry at me/us. My wife was trembling of stress (very bad for her as she recently finished a very difficult medical treatment) and we finally decided to go to eat somewhere else which was not easy being in such a small place where we didnt know where to go, late and with small kids, and with my oldest son's girlfriend suffering from diabets. As we were afraid to use any services, we left the day after without eating breakfast in the hotel.
