TENUTA DOROLIVO

Our best stay in Puglia, by far, Gian Maria and Francesco are doing a great job with this property, fantastic setting, friendly and professional communication, very comfortable rooms, amazing breakfast, imeccable reccomendations. We truly enjoyed every suggestions they had for the area, we will most definitely be back!

There's litterally nothing not to like.

breakfast was great, staff was amazing. rooms were very comfy, clean and well equipped.

not having a pool area to relax and chillout at the tenuta a big longer. the place is amazing but has limited common space to stay there.

Everything! From the lovely room, carefully decorated and thought through in every possible detail (down to bluetooth and speakers to play music, to 3 different kinds of pillows, to free water and tea and private little garden with patio furniture), to the beautiful surroundings, to the exceptional breakfast with a wide choice of savory and sweet food including local specialities. The owners, Francesco and Gian Maria, are truly the nicest guys! They upgraded us to a larger room that was available and provided us with a list of restaurants, bars and other venues in the area as well as in Otranto, including a recommendation for a parking lot in Otranto (very appreciated!). I wish we could have stayed longer!!

I really wish I could give Tenuta Dorovilo a higher score, because the place itself is lovely. The hosts were incredibly kind: they explained everything to us and even recommended places to visit nearby. Breakfast was impeccable, with plenty of options and all delicious. The rooms were clean and spacious.

Unfortunately, the mattress was far too uncomfortable — I couldn’t have managed more than one night on it. On top of that, too much light came into the room even with all the curtains properly closed. I think this property has the potential to be so much better, and ultimately you come to a place like this to sleep, so the resting conditions are what weigh the most for me.
