Aspenalt Lodge

The hotel is right next to the Fryingpan River. Peaceful sounds of water over rocks, small table and chairs right outside your door to sit at to adsorb the serenity of the location. The construction noise was minimal on the side by the river. There's a great restaurant next door serving mountain trout. The breakfast was substantial with breakfast burritos and hard boiled eggs, and a variety of breads and and waffles for the carbs.

I loved waking up next to the river and having my coffee.. it was a little loud in my end room. I believe it was the air conditioning from the building next door, going on and off. It was clean and the staff was great!’

We enjoyed staying right on the river and just down the street from the gate to Rocky Mountain National Park.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The motel was pretty basic but had everything we needed. Loved the breakfast, fridge in room, coffee maker, and location. Also, the room was super clean and spacious. Would definitely stay here again.
