Hilton Wilmington/Christiana

This was such a nice, clean, happy hotel! A lot happened during our stay this weekend but still amongst the chaos of three different events (a wedding and a book signing and a church event), the front staff was amazingly kind. The room was so clean and inviting. My mom and I had a lanai room, which went out to the main patio. We couldn't go outside because of the wedding they set up for, but it was still peaceful and quiet. We were close to shopping and food which helps and parking was easy. I would come back to this location again.

Since the property is a bit isolated it would be nice if the bar stayed opened a bit later, ESPECIALLY during major sporting events. We were traveling during the World Cup and we would have preferred to watch the games in the hotel lobby bar but it promptly closed at 10 and we were forced to watch the game at outside bars pr in our room. The front desk was FANTASTIC with my request for a later checkout. Pool was great for everyone during the hot weekend!

Breakfast is great. Room needs to be updated and peeling pain in numerous places and the sink didn't drain.

The hotel in general was nice but when you take a closer look it’s not very well maintained. Walls are paper thin, bathrooms are kind of gross, and only flat sheets are used so bedding was sloppy. We never had our room cleaned during our 2 night stay. Restaurant food was decent but very expensive.
