We stayed at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth during our trip to Montreal and were blown away. We booked late after an issue with another accommodation fell through, so our room wasn't ready until three hours after check in. The manager more than made up for it, upgrading us to a better room at no extra cost and sending up dessert and fruit as an apology. The room was spotless, the service was excellent, and the pool and hot tub were fantastic. Don't hesitate to stay here. Worth every penny.

On arrival, check=in was straight forward.
The room was clean and well presented with a great view over the city which was beautiful at night. The restaurant had a reasonable range of food for breakfast and evening meals, however, you need to be up early for breakfast to avoid the half hour wait in the queue. Other than that, the hotel and service were brilliant. We would definitely use it again.
