Best Western Athens

Overall nice property. I was surprised after I booked and paid for my room that I would have to pay for parking. Parking fees should be included so you know when you book. No cups/glasses in the room.

Granted this was UGA graduation weekend and demand was high- the price we paid for our rooms was a little out of whack for what you get. Everything is pretty dated and not that nice. Room had a busted toilet paper and towel rack, bed sheet had stain on it. There’s only one elevator that goes to upper floors which doesn’t work well with high occupancy. However if price were much lower which is probably the case on most days then I would’ve been more satisfied. The staff is friendly enough. The lady in the breakfast room was very nice and friendly. The parking situation is good. The location is pretty good because it’s walkable to downtown Athens.

The hotel and the room were very nice. The bed was comfortable. We had a three night stay but housekeeping never cleaned our room. We had to go down to the front desk for clean towels. Also. They ran out of coffee.

Front desk guy was super friendly and helpful for me as a tourist from out-of-town!
