Clover Island Inn

Pleasantly surprised as to how nice it was. It's obviously not a major brand name hotel, but it was a great place for the price! The room was just a normal hotel room, the bathroom was huge. The shower had great water pressure, which you don't usually get in a hotel. The view of the river in the morning for the sunrise, and the evening for the sunset was pretty unbeatable! 5 stars for that. It would have been better if the river side of the building was pressure washed (a lot of spiders and webs on that side), but I know they're under construction, so I was able to look past it. This time of year might just be bad for the spiders/webs, as they seemed to be everywhere! There was plenty of parking. It has sidewalks that go all the way to the trailheads where you can walk on a really nice, paved walkway next to the river where you can see birds and descriptive signs. There are two amazing restaurants less than a block away that have great food! The whole area was just clean, I never felt unsafe (I was alone for this trip) and I would definitely stay there again! Continental breakfast was pretty good too, and the coffee was amazing!
