Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle North Lynnwood

We had an issue with our air conditioner. Maintenance was quick to fix.

Overall we had an amazing stay. Like every place it had some positives and negatives. Pros: The room was overall very nice and clean. There was plenty of space for us to spread out. I’m not a breakfast person myself, but my family raved about the breakfast, saying it was one of the best they’ve had at a hotel. Cons: The bathroom was probably the least clean part of the room. The caulk around the tub was moldy. The tub itself didn’t look clean. It might’ve been, but the heavy staining made it appear otherwise, which was a little off putting. The floors didn’t look like they’d been cleaned recently, especially behind the door and toilet. In the room itself, the tv and a lamp weren’t plugged in. So we had to pull the unit out to plug them in. Not hard, but might’ve been if you weren’t strong enough. There was also only 1 remote for the two TVs. So we had to share it back and forth between the two rooms (separated suite). Last but not least, the pull out sofa bed was the worst one we’ve ever had in a room. We travel as a family and use them almost every stay. This one was so thin you could feel all the spiral supports going through it. It definitely didn’t make for a good nights sleep for anyone that slept on it. Would we stay here again, yes. But I’d probably bring some extra cleaning supplies for the tub and hope we didn’t need the pull out bed.

Spacious room with high quality linens, thick blankets, and very good sound-proofing. Excellent breakfasts including made-to-order omelets and dairy-alternative milks. A couple minor issues with our stay: fire alarm went off for several minutes while we were sleeping, reception said it was due to a guest burning incense in their room. We requested a 30 minute check out extension as a result which they denied, saying they have a limit of six late check outs across the property and all already granted. Very friendly staff, were just limited by company policy. Stayed in room 232, has a leaking faucet and a drooping shower curtain rod but is otherwise wonderful. Would happily stay again.

I really enjoyed this hotel. Everything from walking in the door, to the staff, to the cleanliness of the hotel, and the fantastic breakfast.
