The room was beautiful, and the staff were so kind!

My partner, her sisters, and I stayed at Rathbone Mansions over Fourth of July weekend for my 30th birthday, and we absolutely loved it! From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with the charm and character of the property. The staff were incredibly sweet and accommodating, and they made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. We stayed in the balcony room, and it was spectacular. It was surprisingly quiet, and the room itself was stunning. The "balcony door" was actually one large window that you pull up to open, which only added to the unique charm of the mansion. The bathroom was fully remodeled and absolutely beautiful. We also really enjoyed the pool area. It was relaxing and had the same charming, historic feel as the rest of the property. The only thing I'd mention is that it's a bit of a walk to the French Quarter. We're probably slower walkers, but it took us about 15–20 minutes to get to most places, so we ended up using Uber quite a bit. That said, it wasn't a dealbreaker at all. Overall, Rathbone Mansions was the perfect place to celebrate my 30th birthday, and we will absolutely be back!

The Rathbone is a great place to stay if you have a larger group. The rooms are large and beautiful, they're in great condition, and the staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. And it's pretty good walking distance to just about everything in the French Quarter. Not loud in the action, but not to far a walk to get there. We will ABSOLUTELY be back!
