Days Inn by Wyndham Wurtsboro

The initial process was quick. The room was clean. Everything worked. It can't get better than that! Thank you to the beautiful family that manages the property!

The room was clean!

For a three-night stay, this place did the trick. The check-in process was easy, and the woman at the Front Desk was pleasant enough. The hotel itself is a bit outdated, but the room was pretty well-kept and the housekeeping staff was friendly. Aside from a few issues (tricky tub faucet, slow-draining bathroom sink, shower rod not fully secured, and a very brief overnight power outage one night), everything was okay. My room had a view of the front lawn, which is nicely landscaped, and a partial view of the mountains in the distance. They had a standard breakfast setup (pastries, coffee, cereal, waffle maker) that I didn't get the chance to check out. The vending machine selection was a bit sparce but I grabbed essentials from a nearby gas station. Overall, the stay was as expected. The AC, microwave, fridge, and iron were all in good order in the room. An AirBnb would probably be a bit more comfortable, but for a simple, no-frills place to rest your head for a few nights, it works. I visit the area a few times per year, and would likely stay here again.

The room was clean, comfortable, quiet a/c unit. The staff were efficient and friendly. It was perfect for our one night stay.
