The Whaler's Inn

Charming hotel but very small room . Breakfast was expensive. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Close to everything . Would stay there again

Probably the best location in Mystic. Charming hotel with a coastal Americana vibe. Very walkable to the main shopping areas and restaurants. Appreciated the on site parking and the cookies in the lobby. The stairwell and hallways of the main hotel had a strong “chemical/petroleum smell”. Not sure where it was coming from but that was off putting. Strong enough that the smell would seep into the room. Also, the front desk crew seemed a bit disengaged — minimal eye contact, seemed to be focused on their computers versus genuinely welcoming and authentically connecting with guests. Hospitality is the name of the game. Greet your guests with a warm welcome. That makes a difference.

The room was very clean. It was cozy and the bed was comfortable. I'd stay there again.

Wonderful stay in historic Mystic. The Inn is so charming and perfectly located. The staff are amazing, welcoming and efficient. Our king room was beautiful and spacious.
