Residence Inn By Marriott Grand Rapids West

Room had a damaged lamp (electrical hazard) and wrinkled up carpet. Lighting was really dim even with all lamps on, esp in the kitchen. Microwave turntable didn’t turn. So maintenance and upkeep could be better. But the bed was comfortable, staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good (eggs and hot meat always available as well other foods). Had a huge heat wave, so didn’t use the pool deck much because of heat/sun concerns. But lots of families were using it, as well as the grill-out area. Excellent location for getting out to regional bike trails.

I like that the room i booked had an oven! The staff is easy to get ahold of if you need them. The GM is very hands on and readily available if needed. Best location if you are looking to get some rest after shopping or eating all day lol.

Staff very friendly

This place was absolutely a dream! Every single staff person we encountered was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was to die for! Bacon, sausage, bagels, yogurt and delicious coffee. The room was large and airy with plenty of towels. We will stay here any time we go see our Grandchildren!
